Lakshmi Meditation
Connect with the qualities of Lakshmi, the Hindu Goddess of wealth, prosperity & good fortune physically and spiritually.
Lakshmi is also a Goddess that symbolises power, beauty and grace. She is the wife of Vishnu, the preserver, and where he represents all that is the Divine Masculine, Lakshmi represents all that is Divine Feminine. The word ‘Lakshmi’ comes from the Sanskrit word “Laksya”, meaning ‘aim’ or ‘goal’. Lakshmi is one of the Mother Goddesses and is addressed as “Mata” (mother) instead of just “Devi” (goddess).
Lakshmi is usually depicted sitting in an eight-petalled lotus, holding lotus flowers in her hands. The lotuses, in various stages of blooming, represent the worlds and beings in various stages of evolution. Gold coins are seen flowing from her hands.
In this powerful meditation, we connect with Lakshmi, and experience a deep healing journeying with eight generations of our ancestors to clear experiences that they had that might affect our ability to receive all that Lakshmi blesses and bestows us with.
